I don't know about you but TGIF!! This week seemed to just drag on and on... and on. The week was a bit lonely with my Husband being out of town. Although, I did give me the opportunity to spend some time catching up on blogging and crafting. I feel like I'm always on fast forward mode and this week did give me sometime to just relax. Anyway, here are my weekly highlights!
1. So I've never owned a pair of loafers and always associated them with an older generation. But, I saw these and think they are adorable! Are they in style now or am I just getting old?!
2. Do you follow pbfingers.com? If not, you should! I just recently found her blog on pinterest! She has several different workout guides. This treadmill workout is great for me when it's too cold to run outside and I can only use a treadmill. Have I told you that I hate running on a treadmill?
3. I need this! Although, it might have been good that I didn't own this wine glass this week.
4. Long weeks like this need encouragement sometimes. I love positive quotes. This one is so simple but filled with so much hope.
5. My current read: Sharp Objects. I just started it the other day but so far i'm hooked! I read her other book 'Gone Girl' and was left disappointment so I'm hoping for a better outcome this time around. Anyone read either?
Have a wonderful weekend!

i too love loafers!!
ReplyDeleteI really liked Gone Girl. I haven't read any of her other books, but they're on my list.
ReplyDeleteI saw those loafers and pinned them, too! So cute!
ReplyDeleteOmigosh I absolutely adore that wine glass! I get the feeling I would be filling it up to don't even ask all too often lol.
ReplyDeletehaha, I can relate :)
DeleteI loved Gone Girl and tried to read Sharp Objects, but couldn't get into it. Maybe I should give it another try!
ReplyDeleteI love loafers! I'm actually wearing green ones today. I haven't read Sharp Objects but I did read Gone Girl, which I thought was really well written. I think I will pick up some of her other stuff and give it a read.
ReplyDeleteI found your blog through #H54F!
Yeah, I agree, I hought Gone Girl was really well written but just got annoyed at the ending. Haven't finished Sharp Objects yet but will keep you updated!
DeleteI just finished her other book, Dark Places...it was pretty scary and gruesome...but it was a good read. I'll be curious what you have to say about Sharp Objects! And I hear ya...this week was a long one. So glad it's the weekend! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI tend to steer clear of anything scary so I may avoid Dark Places. I'll definitely keep you updated on Sharp Objects.

Thanks girl!
DeleteI feel the exact same way about loafers! But now I just think they are adorable! Until I put them on and the look super weird on my feet :( I WILL find the right pair one day....Does this means we are becoming part of that older generation?????
ReplyDeleteYeah, I should admit that I haven't actually tried on a pair yet... we will see how that goes!
DeleteI think those loafers are cute! But then again, I'm geting older too! Julie from PBFingers is great, love her posts, and her dog Sadie is adorable! And let us know how the book is, I'm very interested because I was disappointed with the end of Gone Girl too.

Yeah, honestly Gone Girl was written really well but by the end I hated both characters and could care less what happened. I'll definitely keep you updated on her new one!

No! Loafers aren't just for old people (or at least I hope not because I just bought some the other day..ha!) The pair you have pictured is soo cute! Love them!
ReplyDeleteI've read both Gone Girl & Sharp Objects. Flynn's other book Dark Places is better in my opinion, but Sharp Objects was still really good. Her books just pull you in and make it difficult to put them down! Such a great author.
